After a morning full of more Omaha area sightseeing, we hopped on Interstate eighty westbound for the quick drive to Lincoln. Located instantly in the middle of the nation, you will discover Omaha off Interstate eighty driving east/west, or Interstate 29 north/south. Driving south from Omaha, the metro area evolves right into a wealthy river valley, with expansive farms beckoning along the way. The focal point of downtown Omaha is the Old Market District, a revered historic area with unique brick streets crammed with outlets and restaurants. This French hybrid grape produces a dry crimson wine that is bold, rich, pre fab decks and full bodied. Saving the very best for last, we shifted into pink wine mode with Kimmel Orchard's DeChaunac. Our favourite Deer Springs crimson wine was a toss up between Prairie Sunset and Autumn Woods (love these names!). Discovering wine is lots of enjoyable, and Nebraska wine was an incredible discovery for us. Before this trip, we'd never tasted a Nebraska wine. Nebraska is well known for its agriculture, supplying an abundance of meals crops from the bountiful farms dotting the panorama. Our last winery on this journey was Nebraska's largest and one of the vital well-known, James Arthur Vineyards, open since 1997 in the town of Raymond and only 15 minutes from Lincoln.

That is especially true within the state's jap portion, house to Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska's two largest cities.
